A coworker brought to my attention the unusually high content of B12 in the energy drinks I brought to the office today.
Wikipedia says B12 is essential to body function. In fact, an acute deficiency in B12 is known to cause seriously bodily harm. My coworker, a former vegetarian, informed me that "plants do not supply B12 to humans," which would imply that vegans or vegetarians should use supplements or eat foods fortified in B12. He also said, in sarcastic tone, that you can drink a 4oz shot of this drink and get enough B12 to last you a whole month. I dunno about him, but I'm a little nervous drinking something with a percentage close to 50,000.
